Through simplified form and quiet irony, I explore the theme of avoidance and the postponing of decisions, investigating the relationship between inner unease and an outward, apparent calm — an attempt to capture moments left unresolved. This finds its fullest expression in my series The Road Can Wait, a story about procrastination and the people who choose to remain in a state of limbo rather than confront what lies ahead. Here, avoidance becomes a peculiar, paradoxically comfortable mode of being, rendered with a light detachment and an ironic edge.
